kdeal privacy policy
Last updated 6 October 2026 · kdeal app · np.com.kakshapatibrothers.app
kdeal is a wholesale marketplace app owned and run by Kakshapati Brothers Pvt. Ltd., Kathmandu, Nepal. Retail shops use it to browse and order from Kakshapati Brothers and from other wholesale suppliers ("sellers") that Kakshapati Brothers has approved. This policy covers the kdeal app only — the Kakshapati Brothers website at kakshapatibrothers.com.np has its own.
The short version. We collect what is needed to approve your shop, show you wholesale prices and pass your order to the seller who supplies it. An order goes only to the seller of the styles in it. We do not sell your details, run advertising or track you across other apps. You can delete your account from inside this app at any time.
Who is responsible for your data
Kakshapati Brothers Pvt. Ltd. owns and operates kdeal, its servers and its domain, and is responsible for the data described here. Sellers are separate businesses: each receives the details of orders placed for its own styles (see below) and is responsible for how it uses them to fill your order.
When you browse
You can browse every style without an account. Nothing is collected about you while you do, beyond ordinary server logs. Your order list is kept on your own phone until you place it.
When you register your shop
An account holds your shop name, phone number and a password, and — if you choose to give them — your email address and PAN. You sign in with your phone number. Your password is stored only as a cryptographic hash: we cannot read it, and neither can anyone who obtains the database.
Kakshapati Brothers reviews each registration to confirm it is a genuine retail business. Once your shop is approved, you see wholesale prices and can contact sellers on WhatsApp from their shop page.
When you place an order
An order sends your shop name, phone number, and your email address and PAN if you gave them, together with the styles and quantities you chose.
- Each seller receives only the lines for its own styles, with your shop details, by email and in its seller dashboard — so it can confirm the price, stock and delivery with you.
- A seller never sees what you ordered from another seller.
- Kakshapati Brothers, as operator of kdeal, keeps a record of every order.
When you message a seller on WhatsApp
The WhatsApp button on a shop page opens WhatsApp with that seller’s number. Whatever you then send goes through WhatsApp, run by Meta under its own privacy policy, and the seller sees your WhatsApp number and name. kdeal does not see or store those conversations.
If you are a seller
Kakshapati Brothers registers each seller and approves it before its styles appear. We hold the seller’s email address and login, and the details it adds: shop name, contact person, phone, PAN, address, city, description, logo, banner and products.
- Shown to everyone in the app: shop name, logo, banner, city, address, description and products.
- Shown only to approved, signed-in shops: the seller’s phone number, behind the WhatsApp button.
- Never shown: email address, PAN and contact person.
Everything at a glance
| Shop name, phone number | Required to register or order. How you are identified and reached about an order. |
|---|---|
| Email address | Optional. Used to reply to you about an order. |
| PAN | Optional. Used only for billing a registered business. |
| Password | Only if you register. Hashed; cannot be read back. |
| Your orders | Styles, quantities, dates, status — shared with the seller of each style. |
| Server logs | IP address, time, page requested — kept briefly for security and troubleshooting. |
What we do not do
- We do not sell, rent or trade your details to anyone.
- We do not show advertising.
- We do not use analytics or advertising trackers, and we do not follow you across other apps and websites.
- We do not ask for your location, contacts, photos, camera or microphone. The app asks for no device permissions at all.
- We do not take payment in the app, so we never see card or bank details.
Who else sees it
- The seller of the styles you order — your shop details and its own order lines only.
- Kakshapati Brothers staff, who run kdeal, approve shops and handle its own orders.
- Our web host and mailbox provider, who store the database and carry order emails on our behalf.
- WhatsApp (Meta), only when you choose to message a seller.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it — for example a tax authority acting within its powers.
Where it is kept, and for how long
Data is held on servers rented by Kakshapati Brothers and is sent over an encrypted HTTPS connection. Your order list and saved shop details are also kept on your phone, in the app’s storage; uninstalling the app removes them.
We keep your account for as long as you have one. Orders are kept as the record of goods dispatched; when you delete your account they are stripped of your shop name, phone number, email and PAN. A copy a seller already received by email is held by that seller.
Deleting your data
- In the app: open Account, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account. Confirm with your password and your account is erased immediately.
- On the web: go to kakshapatibrothers.com.np/delete-account. That works whether or not you registered, and after the app is uninstalled.
- Sellers: write to us to close your seller account and remove your shop and products.
Children
kdeal is a wholesale service for businesses. It is not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect anything from them.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to erase it. You can browse without an account. Write to us using the details below and we will answer.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your details we will update this policy and the date at the top, here and at kakshapatibrothers.com.np/kdeal/privacy, and ship it with the next release of the app.
To delete your data without the app, use the deletion page. For the Kakshapati Brothers website, see its privacy policy.
